ABOUT SHRUTI

Shruti is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in trauma, grief, and loss, and a Board Certified Coach with a virtual private practice. She received her master's in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University and has 15 years of experience working with college students in crisis and in counseling environments. She has worked as a school psychologist at the International School of Curacao, where she currently serves as School Counselor, and regularly presents workshops and trainings.
She is also a Basic Instructor for the William Glasser Institute and is recently trained in EMDR. She previously served on the board of Directors for the William Glasser International Organization and GIFCT-US, including as interim Executive Director for the GIFCT-US board, and currently serves on the William Glasser Northeast Board. Shruti also serves on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Sibling Support Network and was on the conference planning committee for the last Sibling Leadership Network, an organization that supports siblings of people with disabilities. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Indian Merchants Association, Netherlands Antilles, and is spearheading an organization that aims to raise awareness of disability issues in Curacao.
