SUPPORT THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
COUNSELING
I think of psychotherapy as getting an oil change for my car...it helps the car run better. Also, when it's done regularly, it can prevent a break down. Even after the breakdown occurs, it's important to process feelings and check in to where you are at emotionally. I can help with that. I am licensed in Massachusetts and Washington, and offer tele-counseling to clients worldwide. Sessions can be scheduled via email and confirmed with a credit card at the time of confirmation.
Here are a few reasons virtual sessions can work well for you:
-No need to figure out transportation
-Bad weather won't keep you from getting to your appointment
-No reason to deal with more people than you're ready to deal with in a waiting room
-Save time (and gas) on commuting
-You can talk from anywhere! In between meetings, classes, or even from your bed
-You can do what comforts you while we chat (work on a puzzle, knit, mindful coloring, etc)

COUNSELING FORĀ GRIEF, TRAUMA, & LOSS
Chances are, if you are reading this you have experienced some sort of loss. I would like to help you cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses that often come with loss. Although grief is more commonly thought to be brought on by a death, I believe grief has many faces, such as the ending of a relationship, the loss of a job, a diagnosis, or any event that is life altering.
Although well-meaning people often advice us to "be strong" when we are experiencing difficulties, I believe that you are entitled to whatever you're feeling and it's healthy to go through the process of grief, but you certainly don't have to do it alone.
